Awesome signing. Girgenson was misused and poorly coached by Bylsma. He has a ton more talent than his stats of the last two years suggest. Two year deal indicates to me Botterill believes in his abilities far more than the previous regime. Excited to see how it pans out.

Agree. 15g15a in 61 games wasn't a bad start then it all fell off the table. I think there will be a few players that might produce at a much higher level this year than last simply because of the coaching change. He's a decent skater, is good around the net and is defensively responsible...for 1.6m I'll take that for a 3-4C.

Yeah, totally. But Eichel and his agent know that if thats the benchmark, they can earn a million or so more per year by kicking some ass this season.DRaisaitl is very good, but Eichel will be better.

That would be a great deal for the Sabres. I was thinking around $9-9.5M

How so? Draisaitl is second fiddle, isn't Jack elite and the captain of the ship? He can't be getting paid shotgun money and have to drive the car.

Well i guess he needs to prove he is among the elite in the NHL then, he hasnt proved it so far.
